Ayushi Sinha: Program Leader
Ayushi first fell in love with Computer Science as a 9th grader taking Intro to Programming where she especially enjoyed app development. She has continued her Computer Science&Engineering career by taking AP Computer Science and Engineering classes, founding the GPS Computer Science Club as a junior, and interned at the Asymmetric Operations division of the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab. She is an NCWIT National Runner-Up and State Winner and National Runner-Up of the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing award.

Abby Glass
I am a junior this year and my favorite classes are Environmental Science and Engineering. Disney is my favoritething in the whole world and my dream job is to be a Disney Imagineer. In college I would like to study cybersecurity or working with computers to help improve the environment.

Story Deweese
Through computing and technology classes, I have found my passion for computer science. I learned Java in my Advanced Placement Computer Science, and I really fell in love with computing. Last year I took both Web Design and Graphic Design to learn more. Continuing my pursuit of STEM classes, I am taking Engineering Design and Application II and Web Design II. In my Engineering class, I am building a collapsible and portable phone charger powered by solar panels.

Jill has been teaching Computer Science at Girls Preparatory School since 2006 and is now the Computer Science Department Chair. She has been a Reader (grader) of the AP Computer Science exam since 2011. In 2012 she was awarded the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Educator Award for inspiring girls to pursue careers in computing.
Named a Google Trailblazer Fellow in 2013, Jill is a founding member ofCodeXX, Chattanooga’s coding group for women, and actively advocates for CS education and outreach opportunities in the Chattanooga area.

Shivani Modi
Hello, I am Shivani Modi. I am taking Engineering and Design II at Girls Preparatory School, where Story DeWesse and I are designing a phone charger that will use solar energy as a main source of power to charge the phone. I have also taken multiple other STEM related classes at school including, AP Computer Science and Engineering and Design II. I am also apart of our Computer Science Club, in which all people on this page are apart of as well. I plan and hope to major in Computer Engineering when I go to college.
